Hi Hi, I’m Ana Latese!

(Ah-na La-Tease)

Hello!

Isn’t he cute?!

I’m a freelance illustrator, art teacher, and YouTuber based in North Carolina represented by The Bright Agency. Specializing in books and editorial art, with a passion for creating vibrant, joyful imagery. Since 2020, I’ve worked with clients including The Washington Post, Penguin Random House, Hulu, and Scholastic, and has illustrated over 15 books. I earned my BFA in Illustration from Jacksonville University in 2021.

I love projects that showcase humor, magical elements and shares the importance of community, culture, and diversity.

In addition to my freelance illustration practice, I enjoy sharing my creative process through my YouTube channel, online shop, and teaching. I have experience in working with students of all ages, including at the college level. I’m passionate about making art accessible, joyful, and meaningful in both classroom and community spaces.

Art helps students build confidence, curiosity, and their own creative voice, which led me to create workshops during my college years to help students develop art fundamentals and strengthen their skills, especially in digital art.

Outside of art, I enjoy video games, tea at local cafés, and long walks with my furry studio assistant, Charlie!
